Skincare Routine for AM

Hello loves. So its been a while since my last beauty blog. I have had a lot of questions about my skincare routine and the products I use. So in this blog post, I will be sharing my morning skincare routine.

When it comes to my routine I like my morning routine to be fuss free and easy as it can be pretty hectic. Therefore, sticking to products that are easy to apply and do the job are key for me.

So, when it comes to my morning routine I follow a basic rule of thumb to apply my products in the order of :

Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Moisturiser, Eye Cream and SPF

Cleanser : Tatcha Rice Wash

Skin type: Normal, Dry and Combination

Thoughts: Tatcha products have been a long time favourite of mine and the rice wash is incredible. I have dry skin so I find it works perfectly for me. It has a smooth texture which makes it foamy upon application. It really cleans my skin without drying it out. Would strongly recommend this if you have dry skin.

Previous to the Tatcha Rice Wash I was using the Tatcha Deep Cleanser this is great for a deeper cleanse and if you prefer a jell formula this would work really well on normal to combination skin.

Toner: Rose Fresh

Skin type: Normal, Dry Combination and Oily

Thoughts: I have been using this toner for a long time. I love that it has natural rose extract. It is a soothing toner that hydrates the skin, leaving it looking cleaner and brighter. Great for sensitive skin as the ingredients are all natural.

Serum: Origins Vitamin C Serum

Skin type: For Normal, Combination Skin

Thoughts: This serum is a lightweight formula which feels so nice on the skin. The texture is non-sticky and absorbs so well. Great for wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Over time my skin texture has really improved. Overall, I am a big fan of origin products.

Moisturiser: Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream

Skin type: Normal and Dry skin

Thoughts: This is my absolute go to everyday cream, as I have dry skin the rich texture works so well for me. With all natural ingredients this cream leaves my skin baby soft, hydrated and bright.

EYE CREAM: Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme +

Skin type: Normal, Dry and Combination skin

Thoughts: A great cream to nourish the delicate eye area, firms the skin leaving it look radiant. I have struggled with dark circles under the eyes so this has really helped with them overtime.

SPF: Shisedo Sunscreen 50+

Skin type: Normal, Dry and Combination skin

Thoughts: This sunscreen is a lightweight gel texture and absorbs so instantly unlike some other creams that leave a white cast. This is a perfect everyday sunscreen and provides a great level of protection. I really love this formula compared to some other sunscreens on the market, which have previously left my skin oily and sticky.

Previous to this, I was using La Roche-Posay and loved this too.

If your looking for a creamy texture you will love this one. The texture is more thicker much like a moisturiser. I tend to use this one on holiday when I plan on tanning as the creamy thicker texture leaves my skin hydrated.
